But when havoc reigns supreme, when jealousy, secrets, and misery, swirl around them like a deadly hurricane and the good times dwindle down the drain, will Ethan’s heart?

India T. Norfleet, Author

CH: Today’s Guest Author is India T. Norfleet, the naughty novelist. Welcome to my blog, India.

CH: Can you tell us in one sentence, why we should read your book?

ITN: This book is the love story of a lifetime.

CH: This story has a shocking beginning. So, where did you get the idea for this book? Was there a special reason that you decided to write this book?

ITN: No special reason. The idea book just came to me while I was listening to late night radio one night. It was one of Chris Brown’s songs. LOL. Anyway, while listening to the lyrics, something said pick up a pen and start writing. Next time I knew it, I’d outlined an entire story. And that’s how Addicted to His Stroke was born!

CH: Was it hard creating believable situations and issues or did you take them from real life and elaborate?

ITN: No, it wasn’t hard at all. I always take them from real life and use my imagination. The more real, the better. The more the reader can relate, the better the story. I like to get as real as possible. Sometimes, I worry that I’m too real, because I’ll put them in such horrible situations. But I do that to show the reader that no matter what kind of pain you’ve endured in love, you can still find a worth believing in.

CH: The heroine was mentally and physically broken and rightfully assured that love wasn’t going to find her. So, why did you decide to bring her neighbor into the love light?

ITN: I did that because Danyella needed it, she deserved it after all the pain and sadness she’d endured from past relationships. I needed to give her a love. An uncontrollable, steamy, powerful, strong-willed, unpredictable,  all-consuming,  cross your heart and hope to die, pinky-promise type love. She had already experienced love at its worst. It was finally time to show her love at its very best. It was time to give her hope, so she could believe again.

CH: What is different and exciting that you bring to your readers through your writing style?

ITN: I would say, ‘The way I weave the emotion into the story to make it feel as though you’re the main character going through their experiences. I like to give you the real deal. I don’t like to soften the blow. I want you all…fully invested in my book until the very last page.’

CH: Where do you get inspiration for your characters?

ITN: From all over. Anywhere from sitting in the kitchen at the table talking to my mom, to watching people argue at the grocery store, to washing my car. For me, inspiration is everywhere.

CH: Who was your favorite character to write?

ITN: Ethan! He was so in love with Danyella, even though he tried to deny it at first. He was all about proving his love to her.  He just wanted her happy, but only with him. He wanted to give her the whole world.

CH: Who was the hardest character to write?

ITN: Danyella! She was a struggle for me because she’d been hurt before. And it was a deep hurt. She struggles with her emotions from loving the wrong men. And she didn’t want to fail again. She didn’t want to give anyone else a chance. She was broken. And I had to figure out how to describe the depth of her hurt and then try to put her together again with love acting as the glue that held her together. She left me emotionally exhausted.

CH: Your book has a lot of ups and downs and potholes and high rises, so do you prefer writing a book with a lot of twists and turns?

ITN: Absolutely! I like to take my readers on this wild journey—this unpredictable roller coaster ride. I want the readers to think they know what’s coming, but then they get the shock of a lifetime. Plus, I feel the ups and downs show how strong they are for overcoming the pain, if in fact they can overcome it, at all.

CH: Is there a message in your novel that you want the readers to grasp?

ITN: Yes! Love is real and it’s beautiful and amazing and all consuming. But you have to be willing to fight your way through the storms to get to that love. To appreciate that genuine, I love you to the moon and back type of love.

CH: If you could collaborate with any author living or dead, who would you choose?

ITN: Erotic Author Zane all day! I love her.

CH: Are there any authors who you would consider to be your mentor?

ITN: No, I don’t have any authors that I would consider my mentor.

CH: You seem to have quite a few followers. What kind of feedback are you getting from readers of your books?

ITN: I get so much positive feedback until it’s almost unreal. I have so many of my readers that love my work so much, until they check my social media pages daily looking for me to release my next book. Their support is wholehearted.

CH: What can we expect next from you?

ITN: Next, you can expect my new erotic romance, Let Me Do You All Night Long, and Part 2 of my book of short story erotica, Days of Desire 2.

CH: Can you tell my audience where your book is sold?

ITN: My books are available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble or readers can get in touch with me directly for autographed copies.

CH: How to Find India T. Norfleet:

WARNING: This series is intended for adult readers only. It should be read in order. Graphic content includes monster fantasy sex and adult language. All characters are 18 years +.

Beth Jo Andersen, Author

CH: Today’s Guest Author is Beth Jo Andersen. This is Beth’s debut series. Welcome to my blog, Beth Jo.

*Note: This is a P-G Rated Interview about an Erotica Book.*

CH: Can you sum up your book in 20 words or less?

BJA: An erotic series that explores the relationship between fantasy beasts (a human-thinking Big Foot creature) and a human female.

CH: Was it hard creating believable situations and issues or did you take them from real life and expand on them?

BJA: In this series the scenarios are tongue-in-cheek. It is meant to be sexy fun reading, so I didn’t attempt to write a story that is dramatic. For instance Big (The name of my Big Foot character) is rumored to have a human girl on the side and his Big Foot girlfriend decides to deliver a ‘beat down’ on the human. I basically wrote about human relationships and turned one of them into a fantasy creature.

CH: Is monster erotica a new genre of erotica writing?

BJA: Monster erotica has been around for several years and has garnered a huge following. It’s also referred to as cryptozoological erotica and reached the height of popularity in 2013 and 2014 by mostly self-published authors, who wrote quick reads meant to titillate shock and amuse. It’s still popular and lucrative.

CH: Each book is a short story and about 40 pages, were you testing the waters with this genre?

BJA: These stories are generally always short and in a series format. Once I decided to write my own stories, I knew that they wouldn’t take time away from my serious writings because monster erotica is fast paced. I fully expected to become a huge author in this genre, since writing erotica is something I’m known for, and I love to make people laugh. But most of my monster erotica only sold to the few friends that knew I’d written them so I had to put away my pen as a cryptozoological erotic author and focus on being me. People may think that I created the alternate because I didn’t want others to know that I wrote in this genre, but I wanted to see if Beth Jo could break out the way I did. So, in a way it was testing the waters. There was some interest, once I added the stories to Kindle Unlimited because you didn’t have to pay to try them out, but there wasn’t enough to justify taking my focus from my author brand.

CH: Where did you get the idea for these fantasy stories?

BJA: I read about author Virginia Wade who wrote fast-paced monster fantasy erotica and it was very lucrative for her. There had to be something interesting in it, so I read a monster fantasy story almost fearfully and realized that it was funny satire. I checked out a few different ones by other authors. While their stories were entertaining, I knew that I could bring my own unique twist.  Since Big Foot was what I’d read, Big Foot was what I wrote.

CH: How did you come up with the idea for the series?

BJA: The monster erotic stories that I enjoyed reading were humorous and so I knew that I wanted it to be outlandish; and yet, heartfelt. I figured that the ‘hollers’ of Kentucky would be the perfect setting. I took a lonely girl ostracized by other humans, due to a terrible facial deformity and I placed her in a solitary house in the woods. What happened next just unfolded naturally between the characters.

CH: Which book in the series was hardest to write?

BJA: The first book was hardest, because I was still trying to get my footing—not with the erotic writing or the storyline—but with keeping it short. I needed to tell a complete story in 40 pages, so that each book in the series had a distinct beginning and an end. Although, it is a continuous story I felt that I achieved the goal.

CH: Who was your favorite character to write?

BJA: I loved writing Big, especially when it became apparent that he was the warrior of his tribe. He was articulate (could probably speak better than the humans), and protective, not allowing anyone to disrespect his ‘little human.’ My twist to these stories is that the Big Foot creatures are a sophisticated tribe with leaders and warriors, as well as jealous females.

CH: Does your leading lady, Candace, have any of your characteristics?

BJA: No. Candace has lived in the woods too long and she doesn’t mind being funky and she likes the way Big smells, especially when he’s funky. (I found this to be a rather strange trait of Monster-Fantasy erotica.) A lot of readers like funk. But I don’t. Candace can drop everything and just go. But I would have a hard time leaving behind a cup of hot tea in the morning, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and a nice thick steak every blue moon.

CH: What are some of your aspirations as far as the erotica writing profession?

BJA: My hope was to skyrocket into popularity with my Big Foot series and then delve into another sub-genre, possibly Dark Fantasy. But Beth Jo Andersen is not well known enough to break through and my author brand is just for my multicultural stories. Besides, my fans are not ready to see me penning Big Foot erotica. So, for now I am hanging up my hat and focusing on just erotic romance between humans.

CH: As far as accolades or achievements, what would you say has been your greatest achievement in erotica writing?

BJA: I began as an erotic writer on Literotica.com about ten years ago. I’m still best known for my erotic stories. My heat levels vary, but you would be hard pressed to read any of my stories that don’t open the bedroom door to allow my readers to take a peek. I’ve won several awards on the Literotica.com site but my biggest achievement is my fan base. That’s where they found me and they have followed me as a self-published author and then spread the word to other people who might be interested in my type of stories. I set out to be different—hence, why it was so easy to transition into cryptozoological erotica.

CH: What erotica authors do you read? And who are some of your favorites?

BJA: Romance is the biggest erotica for me. I find eroticism in so many things that a book doesn’t have to be explicit or overtly sexual for me to find it erotic. Some of my favorites are Anne Rice and A. N. Roquelaure. I also like Tara Sue Me, Rob Colton, Yvette Hines, Tiana Laveen, Sienna Mynx and Charlaine Harris. Some notable stories that I’ve enjoyed are John Rebell’s Mia’s Journey and Evangeline Anderson’s Born to Darkness series.

CH: What kind of feedback are you getting from readers of the series?

BJA: I get verbal feedback very often. People enjoy the series, but feel that it’s taboo and don’t always leave reviews or want others to know that they read this kind of story. I will get a private message telling me that they were surprised how much they enjoyed them and asking if I will continue the series. Some of my author friends act like they are interested in testing their hand in that genre—but I won’t say who.

CH: Will Book 3 be the last book in this series?

BJA: There actually is one more book in the series, but unless I get more interest in Primal Urges, I won’t bother to write the last story. But as each book completes its’ story, no one will be left hanging. However, if more people show interest in it, I would be more than happy to continue the saga of Big and Ca.

CH: What is your next writing project?

BJA: I am at the tail end of a book entitled A Bubble of Time. It is about a fifty year old woman who finds herself back in 1982 as a sixteen year old. Unless she can find her way back she will be stuck in the 80’s—and actually we all like the 80s in theory, but no one wants to relive them. It’s the first book that I’m writing exclusively for Kinfolk Publishing, which was created by Author J. J. Murray. It should be released the first of April.

CH: For my audience, where are your books sold?

BJA: My books can be purchased on Amazon.

CH: How to Find Beth Jo Anderson:

CH: Any closing remarks?

BJA: Thanks, Cheryl, for having me. I enjoyed the interview and having an opportunity to talk about Beth Jo Andersen, the erotica author. I just want to encourage people to read what interests them. Be well read, read what interests you, like or dislike them after you read them, but don’t allow others to judge you by the books that you choose for yourself. Thanks everyone, for taking the time to read this interview.

CH: Thank you so much, Beth Jo Andersen for taking time out of your very busy writing schedule to join me and my blog followers.  It has been a real pleasure discussing your book with my audience.  And readers, if you’re like me and would enjoy this book.  I suggest you pick up a copy at your earliest convenience.

CH: Did anyone guess that Beth Jo Andersen is the brand for another author? Yes. No. Well, the author behind this erotica brand is none other than Pepper Pace, a multi-talented writer.
